1. Enter t code CS01 for BOM creation

1. Enter material no for BOM creation

2. Enter plant
3. Enter BOM usage 3
4. Enter valid from date of BOM
1. Enter BOM usage “3”
2. Select “ Universal ” and press enter

1. Click on header
1. Enter the Base quantity
2. Click on the green icon for backward
 1. Enter Item category “L” i.e. stock item
2. Select stock item

1. Enter material no and press enter

1. Enter the quantity for line item

Similarly, add other line items and quantity

1. Click on line item no

1. Click on the reference point

2. Select a suitable reference point
1. Check reference point, whether correct or not

2. Click on the green icon for backward

Similarly, enter reference point for all components in BOM

1. Overview BOM and click on “SAVE” icon
1.2. Alternative BOM

For making “ALTERNATIVE BOM” enter T code “CS01”

1. Enter material no
2. Enter Plant
3. Enter BOM usage “3” as previously defined
4. Enter alternative BOM no “2”
5. Enter valid from date and press enter
1. Alternative BOM 2 creation processed and again press enter

1. Similarly, follow the same procedure for BOM creation as

described previously.
