ARGENTINA

Argentina is a country located in South America whose people are known as Argentines or
Argentinians.
Argentine traditions are very rich and extensive, with many customs related to the countryside,
folk music, barbecue, mate, empanada, dulce de leche, soccer, crafts, painting and agriculture.
The "asado" is the most popular dish in Argentina, it includes different types of cuts of beef or
pork with black pudding, chorizo and ribs.
The music of Argentina is characterized by a considerable variety of its musical culture, like
tango, folk music, rock, bolero, romantic ballads, cumbia, quartet, electronic music, as well as
classical music and ballet. They have several famous characters such as soccer players Lionel
Messi or Diego Maradona. They also have very famous singers and rock bands like Sui Generi
and Soda Stereo.
The most practiced sport is soccer and its national team has been world champion twice. Since
the founding of the AFA, on February 21, 1893, our senior football has won the 1978 and 1986
