ABSTRACT

Teacher education has significant role in preparing practice teachers


with adequate 21st century skills, the skills for learning, creative and critical
thinking, collaboration and the ability to take advantage of technology or the
overall teaching performance of the BEEd practice teachers during their
deployment. The study utilized the quantitative research design employed the
descriptive research approach. There was a total of (23) twenty-three
respondents with 6 males and 17 females ranging age from 21 below and 22
above. The study used the Final Teaching Demonstration Evaluation to test
teaching performance of the practice teachers using their off-campus
teaching performance ratings. The study also utilized means and standard
deviation to determine whether the socio-demographic profile affects to their
teaching performances.
The result of this study showed that the teaching performance of the
BEEd practice teachers in terms of lesson planning, teaching methods,
classroom management, communication skills, assessment, and teachers
personality labeled as “very high” resulted that the practice teachers teaching
performance is good and that also proved that there is no significant
difference on the teaching performance of the BEED practice teachers in
terms of age, gender, economic status and parent’s educational attainment
and that significantly, the economic status doesn’t affect their performance.
