Motivation is such an important element in improving work productivity, every

educational administrator needs to have a firm understanding of how it relates to job
satisfaction and reward systems. The main objective of this study was to determine
the motivational strategies applied by high school parents of the selected junior high
school students in JHCSC Laboratory High School. The instruments used in
gathering pertinent data were the questionnaire and the supplemented observation
to verify information that had been given by the respondents of the study. The
findings revealed that the level of motivational strategies applied by parents in
selected junior high school students of JHCSC Laboratory High School in terms of
focus on effort got the general weighted mean of 3.21 which is descriptively
interpreted as sometimes. The result of the hypotheses concluded that there is a
significant relationship between the parent’s motivational strategies and their
