Ergonic® Systems

Placing efficiency increased through technical innovation

Mechydronic is the term for the ultimate combination of mechanical,

hydraulic and electronic systems. Putzmeister’s years of experience in
these areas have enabled to us to develop the innovative Ergonic® Boom Smooth and accurate
Control (EBC), a computer-based system for controlling booms. The raising and lowering of
pump operator has an easier job and can service the construction site the end hose speeds up
more effectively. Boom arms are moved using an infinitely variable, remo- the concrete pour and
te-control joystick. The boom and end hose move smoothly, thanks to guarantees more efficient
EBC. This is a decided advantage for high output. performance from the
concrete pump.
EBC means more all-round comfort, safety and cost-savings because of
the high productivity of the concrete pump. All in all, it’s an innovation
from Putzmeister that sets industry standards. What more could you want
on a construction site?

Following on from EBC, there are further Ergonic® modules that facilitate
day-to-day work on the concrete pump and make its operation more
efficient. EOC, for example – the Ergonic® Output Control maintains the
engine's speed of rotation at an efficient rate. Or EPS – Ergonic® Pump
System undertakes the control of the concrete pump and ensures an
optimised pumping process.

Without EBC
with EBC

EBC reduces vertical movement of the boom by approximately one-third, while simultaneously limiting end
hose deflection in all directions

PUMI® truck mixer concrete pumps

The Original

The PUMI® pump and mixer has long been a part of the truck mixer fleet
of a service-orientated supplier of ready-mixed concrete. It has revolution-
ised work on small and narrow construction sites throughout Germany
since 1976.

The PUMI® is an especially economical solution where large truck-moun-

ted concrete pumps would be too expensive or lack manoeuvrability, and
truck mixers are unable to reach with a conveyor belt. The new PUMI®s
offer features which increase their flexibility enormously: greater horizon-
tal reach with reduced space requirements, improved delivery lines for
lower wear, plus continually improving booms for greater efficiency, easier
operation and a wider range of applications.

The PUMI® comes with booms with a 16 to 31 m vertical reach and two
pumping systems (rotor or piston) with outputs up to 60 m3/h.

Telebelt® –
the mobile telescopic belt conveyor
Feed and distribute the pour quickly and economically

On modern construction sites, it is increasingly important for a variety of

different, not necessarily pumpable, materials to be supplied economically
and easily – preferably using the same equipment.

This is where the Telebelt® comes into its own. It offers a new and econ-
omical solution for supplying and distributing materials of all kinds,
including gravel, sand, substrate, soil and all kinds of concrete.
Its range of application is huge: landscaping and agriculture, low build-
ings, embankments, tanks and pipelines, railway lines, and much more.

If the material placement site is closed to traffic or difficult to reach, the

Telebelt® is your first choice. With a telescopic conveyor belt reaching up
to 39 m and 275 m3/h delivery output, it is often the only economical
option.

The Telebelt® mobile telescopic conveyor belt has a reach of up to 39 m from a material Telebelt® filling intermediate spaces during tunnel Telebelt® supplying substrate for interior and

Stationary concrete pumps and booms

Who can transport one million buckets of concrete

to the 55th floor?

600 metres up? Or two kilometres away? It doesn’t really matter – our stat-
ionary concrete pumps and booms bring the concrete to wherever it’s
needed. And they continue to set records for height and reach.

We have a wide range of pump varieties: from compact

trailer concrete pumps with S transfer tubes used for
concrete spattering or to make work on small con-
struction sites more efficient, to the high-perform-
ance 14000 HP-D compact trailer concrete pump with
S transfer tube with an output of 200 m3/h and
concrete pressures up to 260 bar.

Additional horsepower and sound advice are available for large pro-
jects, if needed. Everything to make machines, concrete distributors,
accessories and service a comprehensive and cost effective
solution.

Putzmeister equipment
for dense materials
Coal? Sludge? Special waste? We pump it!

Putzmeister systems for handling the most difficult dense materials are
today’s optimal solution for numerous industrial applications. We offer
turnkey systems for the storage, preparation and transport of many dense
materials.
Pumps operating at pressures up to 200 bar, with outputs of 500 m3/h are
used. Silo designs can involve storage capacities up to 1,000 m3.

Reliable continuous operation, economic considerations

and, not least of all, the materials to be pumped place high
demands of each system solution. However, our customers
have close to three decades of practical experience to rely
on. Comprehensive care and know-how from the same
source means operators are well equipped to handle even
complicated projects.

Putzmeister systems for underground
applications
Supply and safety in tunnels and mines

Underground applications are a significant area of operation for

Putzmeister Industrial technology – with tailor-made solutions for earth
removal, and injection or supply and spattering of concrete.

Aside from the use of concrete injection systems and earth-removal

pumps, Putzmeister ring slot injection systems have long been an
integral part of modern full-width tunnelling machinery.
Putzmeister also supplies high-volume long-stroke pumps for backfilling
as part of continuing developments in mining engineering.

When it comes to the delivery of pit water, seat valve pumps are among
the equipment used.

Concrete spraying using wet-spray manipulators forms an essential part

of modern tunnelling and mining operations.

The common denominator of all Putzmeister machinery is its high

performance and reliability in hard use above and below ground. Not least
because Putzmeister engineers provide customers with advice based on
specialist know-how.

Research & Development

We never stop thinking. On principle.

Research to us means looking beyond the boundaries. Skywash is a good

example. Mobile aircraft washing robots contain a lot of know-how deriv-
ed from concrete spraying booms and are, in turn, technology
carriers for new applications.

Putzmeister’s Data Information System (Daisy) fleet-management software

collects operating data, issues quotations, prepares invoices and monitors
machinery inspection intervals.

The Ergonic® remote control is the central interface between the concrete
pump operator and the machine. Two proportional joysticks control six
directions of boom movement without the operator having to intervene
once. Tangible innovation!
