2. Purpose: The Cinematic Society aims to foster a community of film enthusiasts who
share a passion for cinema. Through weekly screenings and discussions, we seek to
explore the diverse world of cinema, appreciate various genres, and engage in
thoughtful analysis and critique of films. Our goal is to create an inclusive space where
members can deepen their understanding of filmmaking, storytelling, and cultural
perspectives portrayed through cinema.
5. Activities:
• Weekly Screenings: The Cinematic Society will host weekly film screenings,
showcasing a diverse selection of movies spanning various genres, languages,
and eras.
• Discussion Sessions: Following each screening, members will engage in
structured discussions facilitated by designated moderators. These discussions
will encompass various aspects of the film, including its themes, cinematography,
directing, performances, and cultural significance.
• Special Events: In addition to regular screenings and discussions, The Cinematic
Society may organize special events such as film festivals, guest speaker sessions,
workshops, and field trips to cinemas or film-related locations.

including sponsorships, donations, and fundraising activities. Funds will be used to cover
expenses such as venue rentals, equipment, film licensing fees, promotional materials,
and guest speaker honorariums.
10. Adoption: This charter shall be adopted upon approval by the founding members
of The Cinematic Society.
11. Ratification: This charter shall be ratified by the signature of the elected President
and Secretary of The Cinematic Society.
