Living in Rome Emily’s work life A teenager day

Emily is 18 years old and lives in Rome but works in Milan. It takes her a
long time to go from one city to the other. Everyday she travels three hours to
go and three hours to go back home.
She works the night shift, in a grocery store that is in a 24 hours service
station. In that place she works as a saleswoman, and restocks the products
from the shelves and refrigerators.
Although it is very tiring, she wants to continue working there, because she likes it and needs to
raise enough money to be able to move to another country and study medicine. She wants to be a
doctor. She knows it’s difficult, but she says she has nothing to lose by trying it. She puts a lot of
effort and dedication into it.
At the moment, she is living with her friend Grace but she is planning to live in a room in the
