- a pop-up library
- designed and conceptualized by William Ti and commissioned in 2016 by the WTA
Architecture + Design Studio.
- a library as a place for:
o books and reading,
o a space for human interaction, and
o a platform for learning.

“Emergency Quarantine Facility – EQFs”
- For the people, response to what’s happening to Manila
- Isolate people that are infected in efficient spaces
- Quick response to health crisis (COVID-19)
- Can be easily disseminated to other regions for them to use, with their own improvements
to the EQF plans
- EASILY BUILT WITH BASIC CONSTRUCTION SKILLS (mabilisan langs)

What can Architects do ba during the COVID-19?


Provide more beds, isolate patients by creating temporary pavilion structures (EQFS)

Bring everyone together with a singular objective to quickly come up with an efficient response
