Osramane-Dadease on September 22, 1958, to Opanin Kwaku

In 1964, at the age of six, Ntumy began his education at the Osramane Local
Authority Primary “B” School. When he was in class one, he transferred to
Primary “A” School where he joined his colleagues in class three instead of
class two on the advice of his friend, Joseph Ntumy. In 1973, he completed the
Middle School Leaving Certificate examination with distinction. Kwabena, as
he was affectionately called within family circles, became the school prefect
in his final year.

dear friend, Apostle Michael Ntumy, we are reminded of a

light of Christ. His journey was marked by unwavering faith,
tireless dedication, and a deep commitment to serving the Lord and

I first met Apostle Ntumy in 1980, shortly after my conversion to Christ. It
was in the humble settings of The Church of Pentecost regional mission
house in Tamale where our paths crossed. At that time, he was known
as Deacon Ntumy, faithfully bringing tithes from his district and actively
participating in fellowship. Our acquaintance flourished, although we
were separated for a time until our reunion at the Ghana Pentecostal
Council, where he eventually rose to the esteemed position of President.
Apostle Ntumy’s tenure at the Ghana Pentecostal Council was
marked by significant milestones and transformative changes. His
visionary leadership played a pivotal role in the transition from the
Ghana Pentecostal Council to the Ghana Pentecostal and Charismatic
