is smaller than trees. They
have thin and hard stems
with branches that arise
near the base if the stem.

Vines have a soft stem. It
gets supports by climbing,
twining, or creeping along on
poles, stalks, or trees.

Herbs have green, soft, juicy


stem. It grows short and
close to the ground because
its stem cannot support it.
