hundred thousand pesos, or by imprisonment, in the discretion of the court

Philippine Teachers Professionalization Act of 1994 (RA 7836)


 An Act to Strengthen the Regulation and Supervision of the Practice of Teaching
in the Philippines and Prescribing a Licensure Examination for Teachers and for
Other Purposes such as:
 Objectives (Article I, Section 3)
✓ The promotion, development and professionalization of teachers and the teaching
profession; and
✓ The supervision and regulation of the licensure examination
✓ Scope of Examination (Article II, Section 14)
✓ For elementary level, there are two parts namely: professional education and
general education
✓ For secondary level, there are three parts, namely: professional education, general
education and field of specialization
