NOTES:

1. Contractor to verify existing building survey and structure prior to start of work. SSL stated in design drawings
are based on assumption of spot levels. Contractor to highlight to the Architect or related consultants any
discrepancies found on site.
2. Contractor to demolish all existing walls, dry walls, glass walls, columns and slabs as marked in the drawing.
3. Contractor to demolish & remove floor screed, floor finishes, wall finishes and doors including frames, as
marked in the drawing to expose structural slab / soffit /surfaces.
4. Contractor to demolish & remove all existing sanitary wares and fittings, and pipings connection. Method of
statement to be submitted for consultant’s approval prior to start of work.
5. Contractor to remove all existing ceilings to expose soffit.
6. Contractor to demolish all facade, windows, curtain wall items and to ensure openings are protected from
weather during construction. Method of statement to be submitted for consultant’s approval prior to start of
work.
7. Contractor to remove all existing M&E items including its supports, accessories and sundries except items
related to construction site fire safety. Contractor is responsible for fire and safety during construction.
8. Contractor to inspect the existing skin wall and overall building condition for moisture presence/leaking and to
rectify if found any.
9. Contractor to make good all remaining existing walls and structures to receive new finishes.
10. Contractor to re-cast new floor slab as demarcated in the drawings.
11. Contractor to ensure building is protected from rainwater penetration during demolition and construction works
i.e rainwater to be discharged properly and all external openings to be properly sealed and protected from the
weather.

UPPER ROOF LEVEL

12. Contractor to ensure all demolition drawings is to be read in conjunction with C&S structure, M&E, Landscape
and ID drawings. All structural modifications and demolition works to refer to engineer’s drawings.
13. All structural member sizes to refer to engineer's drawings. Any discrepancies to be highlighted.
