El "present continuous" se utiliza para:


 una acción que está teniendo lugar en este momento:. You are studying English.
 una tendencia o una acción que está sucediendo en la actualidad: People are not eating meat.
 para describir una acción o evento futuros que ya están programados: We're going on holiday
tomorrow.

Verbs:
 Se le agrega ING.
 Cuando el verbo termina en CONSONANTE-VOCAL-CONSONANTE, se duplica la
última consonante:
Ej: Sit-Sitting
 Cuando el verbo termina en –IE, se reemplazan por –Y:
Ej: Die- Dying. // Lie- Lying
 Cuando el verbo termina en –E, se reemplaza por la –I:
