LONG FORM SHORT FORM

Present continuous negatives

We make negatives by putting not (or n't) after am, is or are:

are:)

Examples:

I´m not doing that. or I'm not doing that.

You are not listening. or You aren't listening.
They are not coming to the party. or They aren't coming to the party.
She is not going home until Monday. or She isn't going home until Monday.

Interrogative form

If you want to make a question in present continuous you have to write first the verb to be, then
the pronoun and after that the verb with “ing”. Let´s see the chart. (Si ustedes quieren hacer una
pregunta deben escribir primero el verbo To Be (AM, IS, ARE), luego el pronombre y después el verbo con
“ing”)
