Title
The effect of marine tourism on water pollution
Project summary
The project is developed to identify the solution to the negative impact of marine tourism on
water pollution. The main Aim of the project is to develop an effective solution to reduce the
negative impact of marine tourism on water pollution. There are many objectives due to which
the project is developed, like saving the fisheries and marine and freshwater pollution etc. in
order to fulfil these objectives, the development of the project is necessary. Through the
extended project, the outcome is expected that the objectives should be achieved and water
pollution will be reduced.
Impact statement
Marine tourism has a negative impact on the environment. Due to increasing marine tourism,
water gets polluted, and due to this, loss of fisheries and other marine animal generation is seen
globally, and also the use of ships will pollute the freshwater also. In some research, it is
identified that the extreme use of marine vehicles has a negative impact on the ecosystem, which
has led to a serious problem in recent times. It is seen that marine tourism mostly has a negative
impact on the environment, especially on water pollution (Gedik & Muğan Ertuğral, 2019).
Alignment
The project aligns with the priority of "Soil and Water" it is so because the whole project is
based on water pollution. The project is developed associated with the Australian SRP, and it has
become a priority because, from various studies, it is founded that water pollution is increasing
because of marine tourism. An increase in the tourism sector increases the use of water vehicles
which pollutes the water, which is why it is related to the Australian government's research
priorities. Marine tourism is one of the reasons why the world is losing marine fish, and because
of marine tourism, fresh water also gets polluted. Because the use of water vehicles increases, it
has a negative impact on the water as rare animals are getting extinct and also solid waste is
generated, which also spoils the soil. That is why it is related to the soil and water priority of
2
Australia. Due to increasing marine tourism, resources and space are used intensively, which
leads the world towards poor water, and environmental quality as both get polluted by people
through vapours of food items and the gas released in the water from the use of water vehicles is
polluting water to another level. Noise pollution is also increasing as the horn or noise is also
increased with the increasing use of vehicles, which also produces disturbance among the various
species ("ESPON", 2022) because of marine tourism, and the endangered species are disturbed.
According to the studies it is founded that fresh water is one of the most critical natural
resources, but because of the tourism industry, this natural resource is getting overused by
tourists, and if a solution is not produced, it is founded that it is leading the world towards the
shortage of water supply as it is overused. From the study, it is founded that the cruise ships
alone produce waste of more than 70,000 tons which district the soil also. Solid waste and
littering degrade the water's appearance and shoreline, and this becomes the reason for the loss of
various marine animals ("Gdrc.org", 2022). As tourism is one of the activities which achieves the
highest GDP, but it has various bad impacts on various important factors like food, water, and
soil. These are the factors due to which humans and animals are alive, but they are spoiled in a
wide range which results from the shortage of water and food, and soil.

this case and are also much more challenging for humans to even survive in this case for the
working of the task in this case that has been analyzed and shown that there is the certain
working of the same (Qiang et al., 2019).
The knowledge gap that has been addressed in this case shows that the infancies of the people to
deal with the working of the humans and the tourism companies that are running the working of
the tourism, in this case, has been running the escape in a while and that they are using the water
travels for the casual travel of them that will be used as the proper working of the same in this
case that has been addressed in this case for the proper working of the company that will be
treated with the proper efficient working of both the parties in this case and both the prevention
and protection is the Aim of the report is that the final water pollution can be reduced through
this and that there has been a proper working of the same in this case that shows the working to
be properly correct in this case and that the working can be prevented from the water pollution in
this case for the same.
The Aim of the report is to control marine tourism and run them in the proper way to address the
issue of water pollution and that proper steps can be taken for the implementation of the same in
this case for the proper working and that challenges can be overcome with the help of the
working and actions of proper authority that has been caused in this case for the working of the
same in this case and the report will highlight the same issues to the large variety of the
consumers to address them the proper working of the same (Otrachshenko & Bosello, 2016).

different plans are made in order to save marine species from increasing pollution. "National
waste policy" is also introduced by the Australian government in order to save marine debris
from extinction. In this policy, government reduce waste by the method of recycling and also
motivates the industry to take responsibility for reducing waste by making their product
sustainable or by applying different strategies. The biggest example of this policy is the
Australian Packaging Covenant. A successful example of this policy is the product stewardship
scheme, where the Australian government and different industries work together in order to
reduce the dangerous impact of packaging ("DCCEEW", 2022). According to the various
opinions, the government should limit the use of oceans. A special set of guidelines should also
be released for the tourists, and the tourists should follow those guidelines as responsible tourists.
The guideline should contain that no tourist is allowed to throw anything which is harmful to the
aquatic animals and which increases water pollution and the effective solution is also needed to
proposed because the noise of ships is one of the reasons that the aquatic animals face
disturbance as it is important to take care of the marine animals and one of the things which is
possible to do is to minimize the use of energy which also help to minimize the negative impact
of tourism.

for this reason and that the marine life is not affected due to this reason (Tegar & Saut
Gurning, 2022).
Another conservatism authority needs to be set up to see that there is no hunting of
marine animals in any case that will be helpful in the reduction of the task in this case
that needed to be promoted in this case for the proper manufacturing of the goods that
will be later sold in the market in any case that is needed to be prevented from making
sure that there has been a proper marine life in this case that can be promoted for the
working.
There can be a marine survey to see the places that the tourist are most likely to visit in
any case due to the influence of the stuff in this case that is needed to be promoted for the
proper understating of the task in this case and also to make sure that there has been a
proper working of the task in this case and budget could be then diverted to the use in the
particular place in this case for the product that is needed to be used and specific
equipment that is needed to use in this case for the understanding of the task in this case
and that there can be a proper working of the issue in this case for the same.
Also, there is the application of various guidelines that are needed to be set up to prevent
the tourist from providing the proper working in this case for the analysis of the structure
in this case that needed to be promoted in order to make sure that there has been a proper
working of the same in this case and that they will need it just to make sure that there has
been proper protection that can be provided to the marine life in this case for the working
(Grace Baldwin, 2022)
The project team will use all these methods to make sure that there has been a proper working of
the guidelines and equipment to implement the following plan with the help of the government
that is needed to be implementing these programs in the strict manner that is needed to be served
in this case so that there can be a proper understanding of the situation and the tourism can be
prevented to damage the marine life and also the proper working of the stuff in this case so that
pollution in the water can be reduced in this case for the proper understanding and promoting of
the guidelines in the working of the situation in this case for the making of the report in this case.

Project Team
There are various teams that are working for the proper protection of marine life and prevention
of water pollution in this case that is needed to be provided in this case for implementation of the
stuff in this case also that there can be the proper working of the stuff in this case for proper
working of the staff in this case so that there can be proper communication between the team in
this case for the stuff that is needed to be implemented in the understanding of the stuff that has
been developed in the proper working of the conditions.
Also, there is the need of help from the government that is needed to be provided in this case so
that there can be a proper working of the situation that is needed to provided to issue the
guideline in this case so that there can be a proper understanding of the situation in this case for
the proper working of the stuff that is needed to support the work in this case and also that it is
needed to be provided in this case for the understanding of the working of the tourism in this
case. And then there is a need for the proper voluntaries that are ready to be working so that there
can be no water pollution that can be harmed in marine life and can be prevented (Gedik &
Mugan-Ertugral, 2022)
