Qualitative assessment is not required during HAZID as the
objective is Hazard Identification and not risk classification.

of having more persons present.

HAZID Report & Tracking The Next Steps

focussed health and safety style of risk assessment.
» Presentation material used.
» References to procedures utilised.
» Follow up actions and close out including any further
planned HAZID workshops.

Irrespective of the report requirements it is critical that the

HAZID worksheet is updated and used as input to the
development of the activities identified. The HAZID
worksheet should be considered a live document with
content updated and added until the HAZID process is
closed for that work scope.

If actions can’t be closed out on the HAZID then it is

important to carry the action over into the next risk
assessment method that you choose.

RISKUL comes with 5x risk assessment, risk management tools that follow a hierarchy with HAZID being the first. The
RISKUL HAZID tool includes 40+ specific design and functionality features unique to RISKUL.

In addition to HAZID, RISKUL includes HAZOP, HIRA, TRA and Risk Register risk assessment methods. Try RISKUL free
