1 Leveraging Technology for Auditory Learning

Assignment: Secondary Blogging, Tumblr (pg. 158)

Group: Individual

Description: This assignment will be the final project for the class. Through the course of the

class I will have the students record different activities at home. The videos will consist of the

students performing a proper step by step lay-up. A video demonstrating how to perform a chest

pass, bounce pass, and an overhead pass. And a video demonstrating a dribbling drill of their

choosing. The videos must have a demonstration and a voiceover of how to do the activity. The

students must create a tumbler account and name it as (this is just an example) ENMU

BASKETBALL DRILLS. The students must add a bio describing that these videos are for a class

project. They can then upload the videos they create, and each video will have a description of

the video and what they are explaining in the video. Once the students have completed this, they

will send me an email with the link to their account. The students can also keep this account for

personal use after the class is done and continue to upload videos of demonstrations.

“Students communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively by creating or using a variety of

digital objects such as visualizations, models, or simulations.” Students should be comfortable

breaking down different aspects of the game of basketball.
