• Place of Visit – Kunnathur
• Objectives: Meet with women's self-help groups in villages and study past KY student activities.
Understanding their pain points and how to help them overcome them.
• Goals: Research, explore, and innovate on available resources in villages to provide livelihood
skills for women.
• Purpose of the visit- To determine how we can assist them.
Q2) Please describe the activities done to complete the action plan. (Work done in the field)
Answer
We planned to meet with women's self-help groups on Sunday, but due to personal reasons, we were
unable to do so. Alternatively, we met with students at the tuition center and attempted to teach them
subjects they perceived as difficult and beneficial. We also had a great time playing games with them.
Q3) What did you observe today and would like to implement in your next field visit? (Next level of
action)
Answer
We gained insights into students' study habits and future goals. We learned about their concerns and prior
knowledge of the Great Lakes. We hope to assist these students further during our next visit. We also wish
to visit the Women SHGs and learn about their business models.
Q4) What is the learning outcome from this field visit? (Lessons learned.)
Answer
Dreams don't see boundaries; they see the spirit. When I asked students what they wanted to be, they
mostly said IAS, IPS, or doctors. The students I met demonstrated that having a strong heart can
overcome obstacles and help us achieve our goals.
