Chris’s Springbok Camp

We arrived at the hall at 3pm on the 9th of Feb and started packing the trailer
immediately. Once everyone had arrived and the trailer was packed, we hitched
it and set off. On arrival, we unpacked the trailer and started setting up camp.
We made dinner and went to bed. Next day, we did PT and made breakfast
after which the girls and Philip arrived. We did First Aid and Pioneering bases
and made lunch in between. A fire was made and we cooked dinner and desert.
Then came the wide games and after that it was lights out. Next day we made
oats, deconstructed campsite, had an HIV/Aids awareness talk and finished off
the camp with a Scouts Own. Transport arrived a little while later, so we packed
the trailer and left. The drive back was uneventful other than a guy had fallen
off his bike in an intersection. I personally really enjoyed the camp and I think
many amazing memories were made. Thank you Chris.
