FÜRNER'S

DUNCE DAY

“Occasionally, a very wise person will hide their

mind beneath the façade of a fool or dolt.
Sometimes though, people are just morons.”
— Lord Gander of Pebbleshire
FÜRNER'S Dunce Day
Just as every dog has its day, the rst day of the month of Fürner is the day of
dunces, buffoons, dolts, clowns, and fools. Rather than being ridiculed and
mocked, dimwits the world over are celebrated for being the root of so
much entertainment.

While banquets are held and music is played, simple tricks are sprung on
friends. It is on Fürner's Dunce Day that a king may step down from their
throne to allow their jester the honor of the seat for a short time.

PERSONIFICATION OF DUNCE
Appearing as a tattered, oversized, empty jester costume covered with bells
and a pointed hat. Two eyes shift around the dark void inside the costume
unencumbered by sockets to hold them in place. The Personication of
Dunce’s gifts may seem generious, but never come without a price.

Carousing
Dunce day is famous for its feasts and merriment with celebrations often
stretching till daybreak. A party returning triumphantly from the Shadowdark
may seize the moment for the ultimate evening of carousing.

If any day of a carousing event falls on Fürner's Dunce Day, use these
carousing outcomes. If a member of the party is a Roustabout or otherwise a
fool, add 1d6 to Dunce Day carousing rolls.
