3rd, 4th, & 5th Grade Lessons

Rock Episode
You Need:
TV, DVD, & DVD Player.
Clip boards, pencils, student worksheets, & answer key.

Activity:
• Play Quaver DVD video “Classical” provided in DVD
player.
• Watch the video “Classical“ with the class.
• Pass out the student worksheet "Quaver's Quirky" Quiz,
pencils, & clipboards.
• Take time reading the questions with the class.
• Students may work alone or as a class to answer questions.
• Please review the correct answers with students before
class is over.
• Leave finished quizzes and any notes for me on the piano.

Early Finishers
If there is extra time at the end of class, students may have a
music word search or coloring page. Students may keep these
papers, if the "Quirky Quiz" is turned in.
 How to Use the DVD Player & TV
Where are the materials?
DVD Player: On the TV stand, behind the piano.
Remote: Placed on top.
Videos: Either on the DVD itself or in my Sub Box.

Turn it On
• This remote will turn on both the TV & the DVD player.
• Hit the 2 different red power buttons to power on both
devices.
Find Today's Videos
• Open DVD disk tray using the "open/close" buttons on
the remote and insert the "Quaver" DVD provided.
• Use the arrow buttons surrounding the "OK" on the
remote, to scroll and find the video needed.
• Use the OK button to select your video.
Volume & Channel
The volume is controlled by the "+ and -" buttons inside
the white "TV" rectangle on the remote.
This TV usually stays on the right channel for the DVD
player, but just in case something changes. You can
change the TV to the "HDMI 1" channel by using the
input button on the remote or the buttons on the side of
the TV.
