REFLECTION

During the 5 topic that our teacher discussed we learned about the “EFFECTIVE CONFLICT
RESOLUTION AND TEAM WORK SKILLS, SAFETY IN THE WORK PLACE, RIGHTS &
RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE WORK PLACE, CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE WORKPLACE and
WORK PLACE ETHICS AND PROFFESIONAL CONDUCT”. During the lesson in “EFFECTIVE
CONFLICT RESOLUTION AND TEAM WORK SKILLS”, I learned about the steps in problem
solving called REAL, REALISTIC, EFFECTIVE, ACCEPTABLE and LOGICAL. I also learned
that as a leader you need to know how to treat your team members fairly and equally. For
“SAFETY IN THE WORK PLACE”, I learned that being aware of your surroundings and
knowing about the different types of hazards will allow me to prevent the different types of
hazards that can occur in my workplace. “RIGHTS & RESPONSIBILITIES AT THE WORK
PLACE”, what I learned from this topic is that as an employee you need to know your rights so
that when somethings terrible happens at your workplace, you know that you are protected by
the law and you have rights. As an employee you should also know your responsibilities so that
you can fulfill your role in your workplace. I also learned about the “CONFIDENTIALITY IN THE
WORKPLACE”, confidentiality is essential especially when you’re working on a company,
because it is important to keep your company’s trading secrets so that you’re rival company
don’t get to to know it and use it against your company. “WORK PLACE ETHICS AND
PROFFESIONAL CONDUCT” is necessary especially when working or when you’re dealing
with your clients. You need to have a proper professional conduct especially when you’re
dealing with a potential Investor. Knowing all this, I feel much more prepared and confident to
tackle any job that comes my way.
