Colour Rendering
Index (CRI)

CRI is a quantitative measurement of light in


relation to how it affects the appearance of
objects and colours.

Higher CRI reveals the colour of various objects


accurately compared with natural light sources.

For reference, the colour index of sunlight is


100 and used as a benchmark to compare and
determine light quality of artificial light.

At Unios, our products are carefully engineered to


deliver CRI at up to 97+.

Unified Glare
Rating (UGR)

UGR helps to determine the likeliness of a light


source and its luminance in causing discomfort to
the eyes.

The lower the UGR value, the less discomfort


there are for the occupants in that room.

It is equivalent to the colour emitted by a


blackbody radiator when heated to that
temperature.

from 1-10, indicating the degrees of protection

Lux is the intensity of visible light in a particular

LED chips. The colour variations are measured
by the standard deviation of the SDCM colour
combination.
