CAUSE

Climate change is mainly caused by human activities that release certain gases into
the air. These gases, called greenhouse gases, act like a blanket around the Earth,
trapping heat from the sun. The main greenhouse gases are carbon dioxide (CO2),
methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O).Humans release greenhouse gases in many
ways, but the biggest source is burning fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas for
energy. Other activities like deforestation, agriculture, and industrial processes
also release greenhouse gases.

EFFECT
When these greenhouse gases build up in the atmosphere, they cause the Earth's
temperature to rise. This warming leads to all kinds of changes in the environment,
known as climate change.

Some effects of climate change include:

Rising temperatures: This leads to hotter days and heatwaves.
Extreme weather events: Like hurricanes, floods, droughts, and wildfires become
more common and severe.
Melting ice and rising sea levels: Polar ice caps and glaciers melt, causing sea
levels to rise. This can flood coastal areas and threaten homes and wildlife
habitats.
Changes in ecosystems: Plants and animals may struggle to survive as their habitats
change. Some species may even become extinct.
Health impacts: Climate change can affect human health, causing heat-related
illnesses, respiratory problems from air pollution, and the spread of diseases
carried by insects.

PREVENTION
Use Clean Energy: Instead of burning fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas for
energy, we can switch to clean sources like solar, wind, and hydro power. These
sources don't release harmful gases that warm the planet.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle: We should try to use less stuff and reuse things whenever
possible. Recycling helps too because it means making new things from old stuff
instead of making more things from scratch, which often produces greenhouse gases.

by practicing this in our daily life we can help the earth

IMPACT
Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperature, precipitation patterns,
and other environmental factors on Earth. These changes are primarily caused by
human activities, such as burning fossil fuels (like coal, oil, and natural gas)
and deforestation. Here's a simplified explanation of some impacts of climate
change:

Rising Temperatures: Earth's average temperature is increasing, leading to hotter

days and warmer nights. This can cause heatwaves, making it harder for some plants
and animals to survive.

Melting Ice and Rising Sea Levels: As temperatures rise, polar ice caps and
glaciers melt, contributing to the rise in sea levels. This can lead to flooding of
coastal areas, threatening homes, ecosystems, and infrastructure.
