Materials (suggested):

- Any yarn type you would like

- Crochet hook
- Colors: yellow, brown
- Safety eyes/felt for facial features
- Stitch marker
- Scissors
- Needle
- Stuffing
- Glue if using felt

Abbreviations:

- R# : round number
- mr : magic ring
- sc : single crochet
- inc : increase
- dec : decrease
- BLO : back loop only
- ch : chain
- FO : fasten off
- st : stitch
- (#) : number of stitches at the end of the round
- (.)x# : do the steps in the parentheses # times
Legs/Body: make 2 legs using yellow yarn
R1: 5sc in mr (5)
R2: (inc)x5 (10)
R3: in BLO 10sc (10)
R4: in both loops (sc, inc)x5 (15)
- FO first leg (don’t FO 2nd leg)
- On the 2nd leg, ch 5 and sc into any st on
the 1st leg
- R5-R30 is the body
R5: 15sc on 1st leg, 5sc on ch, 15sc on 2nd
leg, 5sc on other side of ch (40)
R6-7: 40sc (40)
R8: (2sc, inc, 2sc)x8 (48)
R9-24: 48sc (48)
R25: (2sc, dec, 2sc)x8 (40)

- If using safety eyes add the eyes on rnd 21

- Start adding stuffing

Hat stem: make 1 using brown yarn

- ch 4
- In 2nd ch from hook 3sc
- FO and leave a long tail for sewing
 Assembly:
- Sew hat between rnds 27-28 on the body
- Sew hat stem to the middle top of the hat
- Sew the ears on the body between rnds
26-27
- Sew the tail on the body between rnds
12-13
- Sew the arms on the body between rnds
18-19
- Add eyes on rnd 21 (about 5 st apart)
- Add mouth between rnds 20-21
- Add blush right next to the eyes between
rnds 20-21
