We, third year currently enrolled at the Central Bicol State University of Agriculture – Sipocot
Campus and undertaking study on the selective barangay and municipality. We are conducting
research entitled, “Physical Characteristics and Performance Yield of Nipahol (Nypa fruticans) in
Different Topographical Locations”. The said research aims to evaluate different Nipahol from
different topographical locations based on its yield performance and physical characteristics to
produce a valuable product as Nipahol. This will involve collecting or harvesting of nipa sap located
in your barangay.

In line with this, may we request from your good office to allow us to conduct this study, permission
to gather and collect the data and information needed and guidance for the researchers in your
barangay which will pertinent to our study.

We assure you that the study will be conducted in an ethical and professional manner and that will
ordinance and regulations of your barangay will be followed. The results of this study will be used for
academic purposes only.
