1. Why do you want to study?

I want to continue my studies because of many valuable reasons as stated in

the below paragraph. The main reason I want to continue studies is to want to
increase my qualification in my job scope as working skills, knowledge about the
work and solving the problem. And also to increase my income to build a better
lifestyle.The second reason to continue studies is it will help me to upgrade my job
or find a new job easily with experience + certificate. As the job market becomes
more and more competitive, the importance of continuing education gets higher and
higher. One of the things I can do to set myself above the competition is to continue
my education. Yes, continuing my education may cost my time and money, but the
benefits are invaluable. By continuing my education, I hope that improve my
confidence, secure my future and improves my discipline.

2. Describe your experience

I am working as a storekeeper in packaging material warehouse at Hartalega

Sdn.Bhd at Bestari Jaya above 3 years. At my workplace there 2 types of packagings
inner and outer . Additional are consumable items and stickers.
As a storekeeper, I will arrange our staff (store hand) for daily tasks on the
everyday start of the shift to do receiving, kitting (picking), forklift driver. For
receiving process after received the packagings we will ask QA verify and inbound
into the system once QA passed the packagings. Then QA will release the packagings
and our receiving team will be store the loads into our bin location. For the kitting
process, we will pick picking list from online PM requisition system, and standby it as
per requested brand, size, qty, revision, and lot number. And will send the
packagings to packing plant follow the window time. Also, have some additional
work sometimes for clear excess packagings from packing.
And also we will always monitor our incoming packagings is follow the right
delivery date. Because of over delivery by the supplier maybe cause congestion of
the warehouse. And for some of the main running brands, we will create a
consumption table to easily monitor the stock holding days, to avoid over delivery
from the supplier and avoid shortage packagings to pack at packing plants.
For monthly or weekly tasks have as aging and standby empty packagings. For
Aging process we will check back the packagings in the warehouse over 6 months
(inner) and over 365 days(outer), we will ask QA verify back the quality of the
packagings due to inner packagings is easy to get fungus if not in use over 6 months.
For empty packagings, we will check the list given by the shipping team follow the
customer instruction for the needed brand, size, and qty. For consumable items, we
do a weekly counting and monitor it using a concept same like consumption table.
Any inbound process must do by storekeeper and above. For outbound
process store hand have rights to do but must be verified and signed by storekeeper
and above.
And as the monthly task, we will do cycle count for a whole day in a month to
sustain our stock accuracy 100 %. And at the end of the month we will do a stock
holding report for count our total stock holding days for packagings in the
warehouse for the end of the month.
