PROFILE
I am a professional engineer registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa, I have good experience in
the FMCG industry and I have been involved in automation, plant maintenance, design of upgrades and retrofits,
commissioning, operations and project management. In my 13 years of experience I have worked in the dairy
industry, oil refinery, texturized vegetable protein (TVP) production, bread manufacturing, textiles
manufacturing and stainless-steel fabrication. I have managed bread factory expansion projects for Innscor
Africa and I am currently working for an engineering company that offers industrial solutions to the dairy
industry, bakeries and poultries across Africa.

In this role I am responsible of the following

• I design using AutoCAD, Eplan8 and the various plc and HMI softwares depending on the client’s
preferences, Install and commission dairy, bakery and poultry equipment for clients across Africa. The
latest installation projects were basket washers for Spring Meadow dairy and Albany Germiston South
Africa
• I respond to breakdowns both mechanical and electrical for mainly commercial bakery clients across
Africa
• Electrical and automation design and upgrades on old equipment (04/2023 Lobel Zimbabwe, I rewired
a bread proofer and put in a Allen Bradley micro800, panelview500 and an electronic encoder for
timing, this has speed, temperature (steam heat exchanger), humidity, loading and unloading controls
together with automatic lubrication system.
• Wiring AC/DC motors, ac drives, servo drives, industrial instruments and accompanying switch gear,
we specialize in Baker Perkins equipment and their dividers come with Lanze servo drives.
• Currently I am building two bread mixers for a commercial bakery in Piet Maritzburg South Africa, I
will be doing the electrical design and commissioning.
