Carmen said in his essay that the Filipino travels overseas is a Great Filipino Dreams. He is
gradually acclimating to the culture of foreigners as the days pass, and he is happy about it. He senses that
something isn't quite right when he sits down to eat. He doesn't feel like eating, even if it is presented to
him in n appetizing manner. He definitely misses the food from the Philippines. He missed the Philippines
even more as a result of the fact that, despite his best efforts, the re is nothing like our own food in his own
country.

Carmen Guerrero Nakpil provides readers with a fascinating look at the cultural significance of an
