Required details for design and preparation of DPR
1. Brief feasibility report if any to know the general overview of the proposed scheme. 2. Relevant toposheet of the Project Area. (high resolution with complete map) 3. Revenue survey maps of the villages falling under the command area (GeoTIFF, pdf, dwg, kmz/kml, Esri shape file, etc). preferably superimposed on the command area map. 4. Details of survey number-wise farmer land holdings if available. 5. Project command area map duly marked on toposheet or KMZ/KML Shapefile. 6. Contour maps of the command area to the coordinates preferable in drawing, shapefile or DEM file, etc. 7. WUC and PIN command areas and pumping station locations with chainages along the canal. 8. Command area map of 29 WUC PIN stations with areas and boundaries indicating respective ICA and GCA. 9. Existing and proposed Cropping patterns to be considered with seasons to be covered (Kharif, Rabi, Biseasonal) and percentage area to be covered in each crop (PIN area- wise preferable). 10. Rainfall details of 30 years with respect to the command area falling under various rain gauge stations. 11. Water allocation details for the project. 12. Details of nearest substation/tapping points conforming to the power availability. 13. Details of the water utilized from the same source for other irrigation projects and schemes. 14. Pump house Location details like Block level details, canal offtake details, and canal sectional drawing details indicating various levels (RL). 15. Details of the Type of soil in the project area. 16. River/source cross-section details indicating HFL and other relevant parameters. 17. Check whether the SCADA system (Automation) is to be done up to the farm level. 18. Type of pipe material to be considered for distribution network (usually MS for rising main, HDPE for distribution, and PVC for drip system). 19. Type of pump to be adopted (VT, HSC, etc) 20. Pumping hours of operation to be confirmed. 21. Whether the irrigation is provided daily or alternate is to be confirmed. 22. Whether the pipe alignment is to be fixed along the existing roads or a cross-country alignment is ok. 23. Is there a scope for changing the design parameters such as designed discharge, velocity, residual pressure, or any other hydraulic parameters, Chak size(24Ha), shift area(3Ha), etc 24. WUA (Water User Association) provision and area of each WUA. 25. If tanks/ponds are to be filled then details of the same with location details (Lat- Long), area, and capacity details if available. 26. Check whether a particular command area is coming under any different schemes. 27. Project photographs (source, PH location, command areas and any relevant). Further any other details required during the design process will be communicated accordingly
