This SBA question was chosen because there's a lot of information available on the topic, and
there's a curiosity about how businesses use music to attract customers of different ages. Music is
a powerful tool in marketing, creating emotions and connecting with people. Businesses in
various industries use different types of music to appeal to their target audience, depending on
their age group. By studying how businesses use music, we can learn more about consumer
behavior and effective marketing strategies in today's competitive market.
Background

Mothers Patty

Mothers patty was founded by Adrian B. Foreman (Chairman), V. Carlysle Hudson (Managing
Director) and Richard Foreman (General Manager) in July, 1981 with the opening of its first
restaurant at 11 Half-Way-Tree Road. This store was opened to sell patties only, and was
originally called MOO1.

Chubby
Chubby is a brand of soda made by SM Jaleel & Company. It was launched in 1993 and was
only available in Trinidad & Tobago and several other Caribbean countries.

KFC
KFC was founded by Colonel Harland Sanders (1890–1980), an entrepreneur who began selling
fried chicken from his roadside restaurant in Corbin, Kentucky, during the Great Depression in
july 1952 and on June 18, 1975, when the Myers family opened the first KFC restaurant in
jamaica at 170 Old Hope Road, Kingston 6, on license from Hueblein International.

WATA
Wisynco Group Limited is located in St. Catherine, Jamaica, and is a Jamaican manufacturer and
distributor. The company operates from two main facilities, including the Lakes Pen campus,
which houses the corporate offices, WATA manufacturing plant, and distribution activities,
while the White Marl campus manufactures all other beverages. Wisynco also owns the

Nuh Dutty up Jamaica is a campaign led by the Jamaica Environment Trust(JET) with support

and health risks in the environment.
