MISSION
The mission of the Community Rights and Welfare Committee (CRAW) is to champion the
well-being, inclusivity, and empowerment of the JUNIOR ALCU-PHILIPPINES. Through
collaborative initiatives, advocacy, and responsive programs, the CRAW is dedicated to
safeguarding the rights of every community member, fostering a sense of belonging, and
promoting sustainable development.
VISION
The Community Rights and Welfare Committee (CRAW) envisions a JUNIOR ALCU-
PHILIPPINES where every individual enjoys equitable opportunities, experiences a sense of
belonging, and thrives in a supportive, inclusive environment. Our vision is a community where
the rights of all members are safeguarded, social justice prevails, and sustainable development
ensures a high quality of life for current and future generations.
3. Know-Your-Local-Government Seminar
This initiative seeks to empower ALCU members with comprehensive knowledge about
the functions, structures, and importance of local government. This seminar promotes civic
engagement, enhances the understanding of local policies, empower advocacy for local issues,
and builds a community-informed leader. Through these objectives, the seminar aims to
empower the community as informed and proactive citizens, capable of actively contributing
to the betterment of their local community through effective engagement with local governance
structures and processes.
In view of the devastating natural disasters in recent years, there is a need to promote a
culture of safety, security and preparedness with training and seminars for all members of
the ALCU community that will enable them to be well informed, organized individuals and
groups by means of exercises and training via webinars.
