Integration of Locations

Use
This section provides you with information as to how the location master data (plant,
MRP area, business partner, etc.) is transferred from SAP S/4HANA to the SCM
location.

Integration
The SAP S/4HANA master data objects plant, MRP area, business partner, etc. are
transferred as SCM locations.

They differ from each other through their respective location types. The function of an
SCM location is therefore dependent upon the location type.

Note that the location type does not belong to the SCM location table key and that this
can lead to naming conflicts.

Maintenance of SCM Locations

SCM locations can be maintained with the SCM location master (transaction
/SAPAPO/LOC3). Extended Service Parts Planning uses additional data in
the eSPP tab which is not filled by the transfer from SAP S/4HANA.
