Vision I see myself in the next five to ten years as a highly efficient project manager, utilizing my eleven years of experience in the
construction industry along with the advanced professional skills I gained from Conestoga College's graduate certificate in
project management and PMP certification. In the residential, commercial, or oil and gas sectors, I aim to manage major
construction projects and actively contribute to the industry's development. To ensure project success, this strategy is about
promoting ongoing learning, good leadership, and a supportive environment.
Goal In the following 18 months, I want to finish the graduate certificate in the Project Management program at Conestoga College,
obtain my PMP certification, and work as a productive project manager in the construction sector.

SMART Goal Descriptions – Assignment 1
In the following 18 months, I plan to finish my graduate certification in project management from Conestoga College and
obtain my PMP certification, positioning myself for a project manager position in the construction sector.
Achieving a passing score on the PMP exam, finishing all required courses in the certification program, and securing a
managerial position within the allotted time frame will all contribute toward my goal's progress.
My goal is possible since I have 11 years of relevant experience, the best technical knowledge in the construction sector,
and a dedication to continuing my education to improve the quality of my work. One major challenge would be balancing
my professional and academic commitments, but I could handle it by learning how to organize my tasks and manage my
time properly.
This goal is realistic because it fits with my long-term plan to succeed as a project manager in the construction sector. It
helps me improve professionally by strengthening my capacity to lead and complete projects successfully by mixing
advanced project management knowledge with practical knowledge.

Goal In the following 18 months, my primary goal is to obtain Conestoga College's project management certification, specifically by
completing all required courses, and to pursue further studies in "Management and Leadership Development." This success
will help me achieve my long-term goal of becoming a professional development project manager by placing me in a position

Objective 1 I plan to complete the foundational courses for Conestoga College's project management Target Date

Objective 2 Over the next 9 months, I will focus on preparing for the PMP exam. This measurable target is Target Date
important for reaching my goal since getting certified as a PMP holder indicates a major turning 05/01/2025
point in my career as a trained project manager in the construction industry. At the same time, I
want to continue my higher education in "Management and Leadership Development" to develop
my abilities further and support my entire career development. My project management credentials
