place tracking devices such as geo-locators, backpacks and but end bands on waterfowl for research purposes.
Waterfowl Banding
● Scouting for waterfowl species of interest
● Identifying landowners and obtaining permission for land use
● Setting traps and net devices for capturing waterfowl
● Practicing placing banding and marking devices on waterfowl
Turkey Banding
● Working with the upland division of Fish and Wildlife
● Capturing wild turkeys using rocket nets for research
● Attaching backpack devices on female turkeys

Served as a biology intern for Cape May national Wildlife refuge and Supawna Meadows National Wildlife Refuge. Which consisted
of working underneath the refuge biologist and aiding in assigned tasks on refuge property.
Wildlife Surveys
● Worked with a station biologist to maximize nesting/breeding habitat for shore birds.
● Patrolled 2 mile beach unit 3 times per week observing shore bird behavior.
● Followed shorebird tracks to locate new nests and scrapes.
● Monitored active shore bird nests to ensure nests were not being depredated.
● In Charge of coordination of volunteers and conducting Horseshoe Crab surveys and taggings along the beaches of the
Delaware Bay .
Habitat Management:
● Canada Goose Banding
● Ghost crab control to protect Piping Plover chicks
● Coyote control to protect beach nesting birds
● Locating/Identifying invasive plant species on refuge property
● Using Arc GIS to plot new points where invasive species were located
● Applying different herbicide applications to invasive plant species
