Most notably, Oscar recently received the State proficiency award at the 2024 California FFA State
Convention for his outstanding background and experience in diversified crop production and
management. This achievement is a testament to his hard work, expertise, and commitment to

Throughout his time at El Capitan High School, Oscar has exhibited a remarkable commitment for
working with a wide range of crops, including almonds, blueberries, grapes, cherries, pistachios,
peaches, sweet potatoes, tomatoes, and apricots. His hands-on experience and proficiency in managing
various aspects of crop production are truly impressive for someone of his age. Oscar's positive and
welcoming personality makes him a pleasure to be around. He approaches every task with enthusiasm
and a can-do attitude, inspiring those around him to strive for excellence. His ability to effectively
communicate and collaborate with others has undoubtedly contributed to his success in managing teams
and training field workers

In addition to his technical skills, Oscar possesses strong organizational and managerial abilities. He
is adept at calculating and dispersing payroll, as well as accurately estimating harvest labor hours.
These skills, combined with his unwavering dedication and work ethic, make him an invaluable asset
to any team or organization.
