It is with great pleasure and honor I am writing this letter of recommendation for
Casey Luh. I have had the pleasure of getting to know Casey over the course of his
senior year in high school. He has overcome great adversity and many personal
challenges to get to where he is today. Casey meets lifes difficulties head on and
is committed to becoming the exception rather than a statistic. He is finishing his
senior year with a 3.0 grade point average and has already take the steps to enroll
in the community college for the fall semester.
Through academic achievement, sports and work ethics, Casey has demonstrated
that he is the very goal oriented and committed to his educational and professional
success. Casey is ready for new challenges and continues to demonstrate a desire
to learn and grow both personally and professionally. Caseys educational and life
experiences make his more determined, sensitivity to the diverse needs others and
hard working. His participation is athletics, basketball, has equipped him with skills
in leadership, being a team player, ethical/professional codes of conduct and the
ability to work independently and as a team.
Caseys friendly and outgoing temperament allows him to connect with other with
easy. He has gained some work experience though his work experience at Bauer
Farms and Simple Equations. Some of the skills included manual labor, such as
pulling weeds, staking and cutting wood as well as lining the plants. Though his
current work with Simple Equations, concession stands at the race track, he helps
cook, tend to the cash register and assist customers by taking their orders, as well
as general cleaning and housekeeping. Through this experience he is also learning
to work as a team and independently, development positive customer service skills
and oral communication skills.
