This release includes fixes to functionality related to the applications: Engage (Sponsor Ready Statement),
Hope (Bulk Entry, Child Record, Correspondence and Sponsorship Admin), Horizon Mobile and Share
(Hope Report).

Please share these Release Notes to all your users and IT Support teams.

Important Note: For instructions on how to install or update the Horizon Mobile APK on your Android phone,
please see the Using Hope for Sponsorship business process guide.

For detailed instructions on how to install MaaS360 (required before you can install the Horizon Mobile APK on
your device), please review the MaaS360 Guide.

IMPORTANT: All Horizon Mobile users are encouraged to have the most recent version of the APK installed
when available. Always sync up before upgrading to a new Horizon Mobile APK, or it may result in lost
data.

Enhancements
Ref. Application - Module Device Description
1 Engage – PC Introduced the following changes for Sponsor Ready Statements:
Sponsor Ready  Added an option labeled 'Display all SFTs' in the Sponsor Ready
Statement
Statement Translation screen for users to display all Sponsor
Friendly Terminologies (SFTs) regardless if the SFT type was used
in the standard English template or not. This change is applicable to
the following Monitoring Areas:
 Education
 Health and Nutrition
 Correspondence
 Child and Family Bio
 Participation
 In the Statement Builder of Sponsor Ready Statement, users will
now be able to use the SFTs multiple times when creating the
Standard English SRS. This change is applicable to the following
Monitoring Areas:
 Education
 Health and Nutrition
 Correspondence
 Participation
 Note: For Child and Family Bio, this behavior was already
implemented prior to this release.

2 Hope – PC Introduced modifications to the Resolve RMT Potential Duplicate - High
Child Record Risk task in the Hope application:
 Added a notification message when the user indicates a photo is an
incorrect photo of the child, when that photo has an 'Approved'
status in RMT. This alerts the user to inform the Global Quality
Review Team to reject that photo of the child in RMT.
 If a photo has been previously reviewed as a high risk duplicate in
Hope, the screen will default to the prior review choices made (i.e.
Is this the correct photo of the child and the rejection reason), while
still allowing those fields to be updated. Displayed the most recent
Rejection Reason if the photo is not correct for the child and has
been reviewed multiple times before as High Risk Potential
Duplicates.
3 Hope – PC & Added a feature in the GN Correspondence wherein the Field Office will
Correspondence, Bulk Mobile be able to input in Horizon the item/s bought for a GN. The following
Entry, Sponsorship changes will be introduced as part of this new feature:
Admin  Added a new subsection labeled ‘Gift Items Catalogue’ in the
Share – 'Correspondence' section in the Hope-Global Settings. This

subsection will be used to maintain a global list of gift items that can
be procured for GN correspondences, and it will assign each item to
a 'Category'. This is to ensure that only approved items will be
available in the system for purchase.
 Added three new fields in the 'Correspondence' section in the
Country Settings:
 Gift Category
 Gift Item Description
 Measurement TypeNote: The Gift Items listed here will come
from the Global Items Catalogue in the Global Settings. This
setting allows the Field Office to limit the list of gift items
applicable only to their country. It will also control whether that
country will enter their quantities in metric or non-metric units
of measure.
 Added a new subsection labeled 'Gift Notification Items' in the 'Gift
Notification' section in the Edit Correspondence screen. A GN Item
will be required to be added in this subsection before the GN
correspondence can be closed.
 Enhanced the 'Bulk Processing - Add Mail Action and Route' screen
by adding a 'Bulk Entry' and 'Processed Records' tab. The Bulk Entry
tab will contain the existing screen after the children have been
selected for the bulk processing while the Processed Records tab
will contain the Successful and Rejected processed records.
 Created a new report in Share under the Correspondence Reports
section titled 'Gift Notification Items Report'. This new report will
list the GN correspondences and the GN Items added for this
record.
4 Hope – PC Added a new section called 'Gift Notification' in the Edit/View
Correspondence Correspondence screen in Horizon Mobile for GNs created using the
GN Management System as well as GNs created manually after this
release. This new section will contain the following fields:
 GN Purpose
 Amount in USD
 Amount in Local Currency
 Community Allocation Amount in USD

 Child/Family Allocation Amount in Local Currency
5 Hope – PC Introduced the following changes for the Gift Notification
Correspondence correspondence type in the Hope application:
 Removed 'GN - Sponsor Gift Notification (and Child Thank You)'
from the Correspondence Type list in the Create Correspondence
screen in Horizon Mobile. Creation of GN correspondence in
Horizon Mobile in the Mobile application will no longer be allowed.
 Creation of GN correspondence will only be available for
Sponsored RCs.
 Added a new section called 'Gift Notification' in the Create
Correspondence screen in the PC application. This new section
will contain the same fields present when creating GN in the GN
Management System. These fields are:
 Gift is for Child with Special Need
 GN Order Number
 GN Purpose
 GN Amount in USD
 GN Amount in SO Currency
 SO Currency Code
 % Allocation for Community
 Child/Family Allocation Amount in USD (for Child with Special
Need)
 Added the 'GN Questions' section in the Edit Correspondence
screen for GNs created in Hope. The 'Ask Question' feature will
be disabled for manually created GNs.
6 Hope – PC Added the following new Mail Action and Routes for the GN
Correspondence Correspondence type in the Horizon PC (Website and Installable)::
 S-APR: Sent to Approver
 F-APR: Received from Approver
 S-FIN: Sent to Finance
 F-FIN: Received from Finance

7 Share – PC Updated the Project search parameters in the Upcoming

Hope Reports Correspondence Expiry Report from single-select to multi-select. This
will allow the user to generate the report for multiple projects in a
single run. A total count of the correspondence records is added at the
end of each project.

Bug Fixes
Ref. Application - Module Device Description
1 Horizon Mobile Mobile Fixed an issue in the Offline mode (with enabled VPN) of Horizon
Application Mobile where the wrong connection status is detected, making the
Language and Country fields disabled in the login screen. After this
release, the application will now be able to detect the correct
connection status of the offline mode which leads to enabling the
Language and Country fields.
2 Share – PC Fixed an issue with the Data Quality Gap Participation Details Report
Hope Reports in Share where some of the Participation records with NULL (or
blank) Change Statements were counted as participation in the
report. After this release, all Participation records with no generated
Change Statements will not be counted in the data quality certifiction
of the child record.
