Hi Mary,
I am in the Canadian city of Montreal with my brother. It's a fantastic city. My
aunt lives here and we're with her for a week.
Montreal is a very interesting place. It's the biggest bilingual city in the world - a
lot of people speak English and French. People speak to me in French in the
shops, but when I don't understand they speak in perfect English. My brother
speaks French fluently. He uses his French every day but he doesn't understand
some Canadian French words.
Montreal is very friendly and there are people from many different countries. We
go to Italian cafes in the -Little Italy part of the city or to Chinese restaurants in
the "Chinatown” area. My favorite place is the Mount Royal Park - it's got an
amazing view of the city.
Lots of love,
Sally
