WHAT IS SPACE?

SPACE Student Chapter, UET Lahore is a student governed non-profit branch of Society of
Pakistan’s Advancing Chemical Engineers (SPACE) with a vibrant past and a promising future. We
have not only pioneered technical events and activities in UET Lahore but are consistently
providing students with a platform to inculcate leadership qualities, draw out the team player in
them and to groom themselves personally as well as professionally to represent their institution
honorably afterwards. SPACE UET has also taken care of the innovative ideas of the students and
helping them to transform it into reality by providing platform of technical forums. This society
started functioning in the year 2007 under the patronage of Dr. Naveed Ramzan and has been
working successfully.

OUR MISSION:
To promote the professional development of students by its programs and by its relations with
other Student Chapters. It is also the main objective of the society to contribute to the
development of chemical engineering at University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore
through activities involving the faculty and student members.

OUR VISION:
In future our vision is to create a biggest society or a community of Chemical Engineers where
they can interact with each other and develop and improve each other with the help of
different activities and events.

OUR OBJECTIVE:
The Objective of this society is to promote the professional development of students by its
programs and by its relations with other Student Chapters. It is also the main objective of the
society to contribute to the development of chemical engineering at University of Engineering &
Technology, Lahore through activities involving the faculty and student members. SPACE
(Society of Pakistan’s Advancing Chemical Engineers) is aimed to provide students a platform
where they can present themselves and prepare themselves for future challenges. We are
providing platform to undergraduate students to shine their technical knowledge by providing
different activities and events where they can put their theoretical work in practical. Our motto
is “Building Leaders of Tomorrow” and our main objective is just according to our motto that is
we are building leaders and team players out of the students so they can present themselves &
