GALROMPICS

- Galrompics is an interhall fun games competition hosted by martin hall

(1996-97). All the department and hall took part and i represented the St.
Thomas’s hall.

On 24th September 2022, Martin hall hosted their 25th galrompics. All the 6 residential halls
took part in the competition and I represented St. Thomas’s hall in the marchpast. We
started our practise for marchpast a week before, the sessions for the practise were indeed
an experience .There were about 39 members and the team was led by our outdoor games
minister Mr. Rishi S. The 25th galrompics theme was ”legacy endures and history repeats”.
We performed a mime according to the theme.
We had the best bonding during this time with our batchmates and our seniors too. The
days before the competition were so stressful and we were nervous about the outcome that
we would get after participating in the competition. Seniors played a great role in making us
coordinate properly. We even had practise in the morning that day. The program started
around 2pm at pavilion. Our chance was after the Selayur hall. We didn’t had any
nervousness about the competition because we are the “jolliest fellows” of St. Thomsas’s
hall. We took around 15 min to complete the marchpast and we could really feel the hall
spirit.
