-The painting depicts the various aspects of a wheat farm during daylight hours. It showcases the vibrant
hues of the fields, with rows of wheat being harvested against a backdrop of a clear blue sky. In the
center lies a lush green field awaiting cultivation, while to the side, wheat is being harvested from a
golden-yellow expanse. In the foreground, a field ripe for harvesting glows golden, contrasting with a
harvested field where a pile of brownish wheat sits. The scene is further enriched by farmhouses
sporting matching roof colors, alongside carts, wooden fences, ladders, and small trees. Dotting the
landscape are farmers at work, set against the backdrop of the blue-green Mont Majour.

Vincent Van Gogh gained renown as an artist primarily associated with expressionism. Through his
artwork, he sought to convey the subjective emotions of wheat farmers, making their experiences
accessible to a broader audience, even those unfamiliar with rural life. His painting "Harvest at La Crau"
