Denmark is a Nordic Country in Northern Europe, it is positioned southwest of Sweden, south of Norway and north
of Germany. It includes the Jutland Peninsula and various islands such as Zealand, Funen and Bornholm. Denmark
shares a border with Germany on the south in the east is Baltic sea and on the west is North sea. Denmark counts
5.935.619 people and its area is about 43,094 square kilometres.

Denmark's capital and the largest city is Copenhagen. Other major cities are Aarhus, Odense, Aalborg and Esbjerg

There are a lot of langueages in the country like German, English, Arabic, Turkish, Faraoese and Greenlandis and of
course Danish. The official language is Danish. Denmark has a few minorities witch includes German speaking one,
Faraose and Grenlandic minority. What is a Farose language? It is basically a mix of Old West Nose spoken in the
middle ages mixed with Irish.

Denmark operates as a constitutional monarchy with Quenn Margrethe II as the leader of the state since 1972. The
government follows a parliamentary system, where the Prime minister is Mette Frederiksen.

Denmark's national flag, the ''Dannebrog'' which translates to 'Danish cloth' is a red flag with a white cross and it
symbolises Christianity and ranking among the world's oldest national flags. The coat of arms has tree blue lions on a
yellow shield whitch symbolises Denmark's historical territories of Denmark, Schleswig and Holstein. Behind
Dannebrog is an interesting legend or shall we say a tale. It's origin is linked to the Battle of Lyndanisse in 1219 during
the Fifth Crusade, the flag fell from the sky, inspiring Danish troops to victory.

They have their own motto with translates to English God's help, the love of the people, Denmark's strength. Their
Anthem is called (in English): There is a lovely country. And their National and royal anthem is called: King Christian
stood by the lofty mast.

Their currency is called Danish Krone.

Denmark has a lot to offer when it comes to natural sights and national symbols, including the iconic Little Mermaid
statue in Copenhagen, the Tivoli Gardens amusement park, Møns Klint's geological cliffs, UNESCO World Heritage site
Kronborg Castle associated with Shakespeare's "Hamlet," and the unique ecosystem of the Wadden Sea. We can also
add notable sights and attractions such as Copenhagen's Nyhavn harbour, Roskilde Cathedral, which served as a
burial site for Danish monarchs.

Under typical dishes we can count Smørrebrød, witch is the most iconic Danish dish it is open-faced sandwich with
various toppings like salmon. Æbleskiver fluffy pancakes, often served with powdered sugar and jam. Rikadeller,
Danish meatballs, made from pork and veal. Rugbrød dark, dense rye bread served with different topics.

Danish history goes all the way back to Viking Age. Denmark has made it through various wars and territorial changes
but it has maintained stability.
