Bhavya Ponnavolu did an excellent job on her final project. Her report as well as her presentation was well-
organized and thorough from Introduction to conclusions, I followed along with no difficulties of
understanding. Her use of visual aids and examples also helped to illustrate her points effectively though
towards at the end at some point she started having difficulties.

1.1 PART I: A Dataset of Images or Audio Files

Bhavya Ponnavolu did a great job in elaborating clearly on the dataset she used for her a project. She
also provided the source of her dataset which I was able to look at to verify with what she was doing in
her project. She provided the necessary details of her dataset she used in her project.

1.2 PART II: Obtain CIFAR-10 Dataset

Evaluating Score (/5):5

She provided an outstanding overview of how she obtained the CIFAR-10 Dataset and it was easy to
follow along.

1.3 PART III: Build, Train, and Test CNN on CIFAR-10 Dataset

Evaluating Score (/5): 4.5

Bhavya Ponnavolu provided detailed information on how she designed and trained the model.
She also used visual diagram for easy understanding of the CNN network.
She also elaborated on how to test the model quite well.
 1.4 PART IV: Compare Convolutional Neural Network Performance

Evaluating Score (/5): 4.5

She provided reasons as to why the MNIST dataset had higher accuracy rate than CIFAR-10 dataset.
However I do feel she had to elaborate in details.

1.5 PART V: Improve Convolutional Neural Network Performance

Bhavya Ponnavolu provided a detailed explanation of how she would improved the performance of the
convolutional neural network. I liked her approach.

1.6 PART VI: Project Report

The report was well organized, however the report was short and brief.
