Topic: Algebra
Activity: “Equation Relay: Find the value of x”
Procedures:
1. In a section, form 5 groups with 7 member each
2. Each group must have one phone with QR Code Scanner app installed.
3. This is an outside activity and each group will form a line.
4. In a group, PLAYER 1 will go Infront to scan the QR Code and answer the given equation.
5. After getting the value of x, PLAYER 1 will go back to the line and relay the value of x to
the PLAYER 2.
6. PLAYER 2, will go in front and open the envelop where the value of x relayed by
PLAYER 1.
7. Within that envelop, there is another QR Code. Scan it and answer the new given
equation.
8. After getting the value of x, PLAYER 2 will go back to the line and relay the answer to
the PLAYER 3.
9. REPEAT THE PROCESS until player 5.
10. PLAYER 6 will add all the value of x solved by player 1-5. Then relay it to the PLAYER 7.
11. PLAYER 7 will go to Ms. Pandian and get the piece where the total value of x pasted.
12. PLAYER 7 will paste it at the Jigsaw Puzzle Template.
13. Additional points will be given in every group if they completed the Jigsaw Puzzle
14. Scan the QR Code and answer the last question

Point System:
 3 points every solution with correct answer including the total value of x.
(total of 18 points)
 5 points to the group who will finish first.
 Additional 5 points to every group if they answered the last question in the QR Code
correctly.
