Dear Sir/Madam,

RE: APPEAL APPLICATION FOR 100% STUDENT LOAN

I humbly direct your attention to the aforementioned subject matter.

I am a male Zambian citizen, aged 20, holding a valid Green National Registration Card with
the number 679340/52/1. I have been granted admission to pursue a Bachelor of Laws degree
in the School of Humanities and Social Sciences at The Copperbelt University, under the
academic year 2023/2024, on a full-time basis.

Having obtained commendable results upon completing my secondary education in 2020, I

express my sincere disappointment at not being awarded a student loan in the most recent
official list published by the Higher Education Loans and Scholarship Board. It is my ardent
desire to achieve excellence in higher education, as it has always been my aspiration that
motivated me to excel during my secondary education. Unfortunately, my financial
circumstances prevent me from paying for the necessary tuition fees, as my parents (who serve
as my guardians) lack the means to support my enrollment in any institution of higher learning.
I faced immense challenges in financing my secondary education, owing to the unemployment
of my family. I am acutely aware that they are unable to afford my tertiary education due to
the exorbitant costs of tuition fees and other associated requirements.

This opportunity represents my sole beacon of hope and a once-in-a-lifetime chance to pursue
my ambition of becoming a lawyer, contributing positively to the development of our beloved
country, Zambia, and providing assistance to those in need. Without government support, I
fear that I may be left destitute, exposed to the perils of the streets and the menace of substance
abuse. Such a fate would shatter my future aspirations of becoming a productive graduate
committed to serving the nation.

I earnestly implore you to kindly consider my appeal.

Enclosed herewith are copies of my Admission Letter, National Registration Card, Grade 12
results, admission letter from The Copperbelt University, and a copy of the receipt form issued
by the Higher Education Loans and Scholarship Board.
Yours faithfully,

Signature

Aston Zulu
