Alec has a real strength in analyzing events and situations and applying them to the present. He has a strong
grasp of the role of the teacher as represented in the Teacher Quality Standard, and sees how the competencies
are linked to one another.
Alec's presentation on Religion in Schools was well done. It led to an excellent discussion which Alec and his
presentation partner handled very well.

Alec expresses interest in becoming a teacher. Although he is more reserved about this than many others in the class, he did
express in his full circle essay that he found teaching his microteach to be exciting.

Comments:
Alec's journal reflections are consistently well-written. They are organized and contain exemplary spelling and grammar. Alec is
very analytical and less personal than necessary in a journal reflection. However, he has excellent insights and expresses them
well.

Comments:
During his microteach lesson and his class presentation, Alec worked on developing his abilities to plan effectively
and provide clear instructions. Alec speaks with confidence and poise, and was able to engage his peers in lively
debate while respecting their various points of view.

Comments:
Alec consistently exhibited a high level of professionalism in all aspects of the Ed 2500 seminar, showing respect for
all and being consistently punctual, both to class and handing in assignments on time (or ahead of time).
7. General Comments:
Alec approached Ed 2500 Seminar with a high level of commitment. He has been a valuable contributing member to
the class, bringing fresh insights and professionalism. I wish Alec the best of luck in his continued studies and
recommend him whole-heartedly to the Faculty of Education.
