Quick tutorial on using Soulja’s no pixel strategy with TT app.

This is Soulja’s strategy. All credit goes to him and his team. I just apply it and I want to
show you how we do it using our TT app.

The concept:

The idea behind this strategy is to take advantage of Tiktoks learning phase period.
Apparently TikTok favors new pixels by putting it in a learning phase and showing it to
more people in that phase. Its job is to gathers as much information as possible to
optimize your ads.

Depending on how aggressive you are with your spend, this learning phase can take
1-3 days. Once it dies out, you simply create a new pixel putting your adgroups in a new
learning phase period.

What we do with our TT app is install just one pixel which we name “Main Pixel”. Its only
job is to collect data. We don’t connect it to any ads. We attach the other pixels to the
ads which we call “nopixel”.

With this method you’re able to see all the visitors, a2c’s, checkouts and purchases.
You’ll see exactly where the traffic and sales came from. Which camp, which adgroup,
ads, etc.

Tutorial:

I’m going to assume everyone knows how to create a tiktok pixel so we can keep this
tutorial short.

Step 1: Create a new pixel and name it “Main TikTok Pixel”.

Step 2: Install it to the TT App. All you need is the pixel ID. Copy pixel ID >> Go to the
app and click the Add New Pixel button >> Name it “Main Tiktok Pixel", paste the pixel
ID and click save. Video tutorial: https://youtu.be/ZKbI_tBOyIE

Step 3: Create another pixel and just attach it to the adgroup. (DO NOT INSTALL ON TT
APP) I usually name these pixels “nopix1, nopix2,” etc. I just change the numbers at the
end.

Step 4: In the TT App go to the Tag Builder and build a tracking url and use that as your
link. This will help TT app track the visitor and record accurate stats. Tutorial here:

That’s it.

IMPORTANT: Remember, do not install the “nopixels” on the app. Let the main pixel
collect the data. You can see exactly what is performing the best and scale accordingly.
Create new ones every 1-3 days or once you notice they start to die out. Again it all
depends on how aggressive your spend is.

The main pixel will continue to collect data. The great thing about that is that you can at
any time attach that pixel to any ads and it’ll be optimized to the max.
