and its amendments thereto, should install AMR compatible meters having facility for

data communication for the purpose of energy accounting.

Further, all the stakeholders shall be guided by the CERC (Communication System for
inter-State transmission of electricity) Regulations, 2017 read with the CEA (Technical
Standards for Communication System in Power System Operations) Regulations, 2020.

ORDER

All the LT domestic solar rooftop projects are excluded from the ambit of Order dated
28.03.2023.

All the consumers (including LT) opting for Open Access under the KERC (Terms and
Conditions for Green Energy Open Access) Regulations, 2022, shall install AMR
compatible meters having facility for data communication for the purpose of energy
accounting.

This Order is signed and issued by the Karnataka Electricity Regulatory Commission
on this 3rd day of July, 2023.
