 HLK-31020 Water Jet:

The HLK-31020 Water Jet, has been developed to assist in cleaning tasks needed on
many sub-sea structures before intervention. Driven by a 3 phase motor, the pump
can deliver 12.5 litres per minute at 110 BAR, though an orbital nozzle. The nozzle can
be deployed by a manipulator or fixed on the ROV and directed by the ROV itself.
The water jet is supplied with a stainless steel filter and an over pressure relief valve.

Motor Disassembly Procedure

1. ENSURE THAT THE POWER IS

ISOLATED FROM THE MOTOR
BEFORE COMMENCING ANY WORK
ON THE MOTOR

2. Remove all Compensation, Suction /

Relief and High Pressure Delivery Hoses.

3. Remove the M5 x 16 Screws retaining the

Pump Adaptor to the Drive End Adaptor
Plate (5).

4. Remove the Pump Assembly and put

aside for Replacement / Factory
Refurbishment (Ensure that on Re-
assembly the Pump Adaptor O-Ring
(BS 155) is replaced)

 5. Remove the M6 x 25 (12) Screws and
Washers (16) retaining the Drive End
Adaptor Plate (5) to the Motor Housing.

6. Separate the Drive End Adaptor Plate (5)

from the Motor Housing

7. Remove the Shaft/Rotor Assembly (3)

8. Remove the M5 x 20 Screws (13) and

Washers (17) retaining the End Plate (2)
to the Motor Housing

9. Separate the End Plate (2) from the

Motor Housing

 10. Remove and Replace the Bearing (6) and
BS162 O Ring (10) in the End Plate (2).

11. Remove and Replace the Bearing (6) and

O-Ring BS 161 (9) and Shaft Seal (11) in
the Drive End Adaptor Plate (5).

12. Re assembly is the reverse of the

disassembly instructions above
